The primary purpose of our park day is to come together to offer support, encouragement and information to each other regarding the unschooling lifestyle.
Please consider making the SUN park day a monthly event for your family if you and your children have a desire to share yourselves with those newer to unschooling, and gain and give support for natural learning. Bring your ideas, problems, suggestions, and friendly hearts! It is hoped that SUN can be a catalyst for building meaningful communities and friendships amongst its members. Toward that goal, private unpublicized playdates, activities and meetings outside of our monthly park days are strongly supported and encouraged.
If members desire they can organize and offer a public activity to the whole SUN list. This is often a good way to get group discounts for events like ballets and theater performances. SUN had no rules of conduct or relationship policies for group activities. It is assumed that the solutions to problems belong to the owners of those problems.
